Politics And Lies

All politicians lie, that's no secret, we all know it and we've all gotten accustomed to it and even expect it. For instance, during Presidential campaigns, candidates always make promises that we all know they can never keep, and we expect it.
Many politicians pride themselves on how well they can deceive the public and virtually dismiss any criticism that we give them for their lies. Some are obviously better at it than others.
In my opinion, i think that Bill Clinton was one of the best i have ever seen, he pretty much wrote the book on how to deceive people and get away with it.
Even with our media cameras that catch nearly every word they say, they still deny things that they have said or say their comments were "taken out of context" sometimes they're right, but not very often.
So it's up to us to decide what is true and what are lies, most people have common sense, and they know what is right and wrong, unfortunately many of our representatives don't think that we're that smart.
We are going through some very difficult times right now, and the decisions that our politicians make for us will affect us for a very long time, WE as Americans have to make sure that the politicians get it right. We need to educate ourselves and remind ourselves of failed policies of the past, we know what works and what doesn't.
