Nascar And Politicians

When is the last time you've seen a politician at a Nascar event? Probably never, or at least they don't show themselves if they do attend a race. I wonder why that is?
Could it have something to do with most politicians think that Nascar fans are all named "bubba" and they all have 1 tooth and live in a trailer park?
Or could it be that at every Nascar event, it begins with an invocation from a local minister, while everyone stands up, removes their hats, faces the American Flag, while someone performs our National Anthem. What politician would want to be accused of attending such a spectacle?
On any given Friday or Saturday night, at your local track, you will see the same "spectacle", and you can bring your entire family, usually for less than you will spend at a movie.
At our track, here in Stafford, they go out of their way to ensure that everyone has fun and gets their money's worth, with some of the best short track racing to be found anywhere.
So why would a politician want to be associated with Nascar types that praise God and sing our Nation's Anthem? That just might give someone the impression that politicians have feelings, when of course we all know that they don't.
I personally would rather they don't show up anyway, besides they wouldn't know a good time if it jumped up and bit them in the ass.
In 2 weeks, our racing season will start up again, and once again our whole family of racers and fans will show up in our Gas guzzling RV's, and we'll setup our barbecue's and fill our coolers with ice and beer, and once again, hear, smell, feel, and enjoy racing without any politicians..
P.S. They can come if they can behave themselves, LOL
